Cihampelas Bandung
Cihampelas Jeans Street
The hotel is located at Jalan Cihampelas where the famous "Jeans Street" is found. The teen hotspot Cihampelas Walk is also 5 minutes away which is a cool place to eat and hangout at night.

The interior is old and as you can see the walls are stained. The rooms are not huge but adequate enough if you're alone or a couple.

The amenities are very basic and not replenished daily. Only a thermos, 2 bottles of water and one packet of coffee. The cable television has a lot of channels and the 24 hour service food menu offers a variety of local dishes. The windows are big and has the view of the busy Cihampelas street. The free wifi has relatively good speed, fast enough for skyping. Smoking is also allowed inside the rooms.

The bathroom is not equipped with hot water. There is also no partition between the toilet and the shower which makes the bathroom wet all over. Towels and toiletries are provided but no slippers and hair dryer.

Nasi Goreng
The restaurant downstairs offers good Javanese food. The free breakfast was so-so, same everyday and limited variety. But the Nasi Goreng (picture above) is a must-try.

Cihampelas Hotel offer different tours to the city. I highly recommend the North Bandung tour to Tangkuban Parahu. If you plan to book with the hotel make sure to look for Eddie (picture above), although he doesn't speak English very well he will take you to the best spots in Bandung.

Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel. The rate per night is a little overpriced for the standard and condition of the hotel but then again most hotels in that area are mostly expensive. The staff was great and attended to my needs very well. They took care of my ride back to Jakarta and they also picked me up at the train station for free.
